The sweet tone and superb projection of the Ozark tenor acoustic guitar, coupled with its smooth looks, prove irresistible to many players, including guitarists and tenor banjo players who are looking for a different sound. With a solid cedar top and rosewood faced back and sides and attractive natural satin finish the Ozark tenor guitar is ideal for rhythm or solo playing. It delivers plenty of volume with a full, clear acoustic sound. The guitar is easy to play with a smooth mahogany neck. It has a 17-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot (12-fret to body) and chrome diecast machineheads. The Ozark tenor guitar is designed to be tuned in CGDA. This is the usual tuning for tenor guitars which are usually tuned in fifths. CGDA is the same tuning as used on the tenor banjo or the viola. Alternative tunings are 'guitar tuning': DGBE or 'Irish' tuning: GDAE. Ozark has a reputation for outstanding instruments whose materials and specification are of the highest standard. The Ozark tenor guitar is just one of these great value quality instruments.
