Following on from book 1, book 2 contains a selection of pieces in order of increasing difficulty, to enable a carefully planned technical progression after completion of book 1. The book covers a broad selection of 19th century study repertoire, with studies by Baermann, Berr, Demnitz and many others (also incorporating some aspects of 20th-century style), selected and edited by John Davies and Paul Harris. Book One contains studies 1-50, with 51-80 in book two.

Excellent selection of 19c. studies. I have recently taken up clarinet after many years playing sax, so was looking for interesting/challenging intermediate+ studies to practice, and this does the job. saxplayer |
